Employment opportunities at the Ashland County Council on Aging.

The Ashland County Council on Aging has an opening for a part time driver/transportation manager backup in the transportation department.  The job requires a valid driver’s license, personal auto insurance, knowledge of Ashland County, understanding and appreciation of our senior population, positive, friendly personality, and availability Monday through Friday.  As we provide door to door service, applicant must be physically able to assist handicapped individuals using canes, walkers, or wheelchairs.  The applicant will also be required to learn some of the daily activities of the Transportation Manager in order to act as backup.

The Ashland County Council on Aging does background checks and fingerprinting, as well as MVRs, on all potential employees.  Applicants must pass all these checks in order to be considered for employment.
